Her Mindshift Hackathon

Her perspective. Her solutions. Her mindshift.

A girls-in-STEM challenge for girls aged 10–18 with coding experience. Work in teams of 2–4 to design and build an app, website or game that tackles real community problems linked to SDGs 1, 2, 4, 5, 9, 11 and 13. Our next gathering is the Her Mindshift Conference (16–20 November 2026).

About the hackathon

A space where African girls lead in innovation.

Her Mindshift equips girls aged 10–18 to identify local SDG-related challenges and build practical tech solutions—apps, websites and games—that address those challenges in their schools and communities. Our 17 July 2026 hackathon brought teams together for a one-day build sprint; next up is the Her Mindshift Conference (16–20 November 2026).
